Summary
Tools process what you type and the files you choose inside your own browser. Compressing an image, merging a PDF or formatting JSON does not send that content to our servers.
We only store data on our servers if you create an account and choose to save something (a result in your history, a favorite or a note).
Account shared with qr2us.com
HerramientasGratis and qr2us.com share the account system: the same email and password log you into both sites. Your name, email and password (stored only as an Argon2id hash, never in plain text) are common to both.
If you delete your account from either site, it is deleted on both together with all of its content.
Data we store if you have an account
We process this data to provide the service you ask for:
- Name, email and sign-up date.
- Results you explicitly save to your history.
- Favorite tools and a usage count per tool (which tool and when, never what you typed into it).
- Online notepad notes if you choose to sync them.
- Language, theme and avatar color preferences.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and remember your language. Google Analytics gives us aggregated statistics about which pages are visited so we can improve the site.
The site is funded by non-intrusive advertising. Ad providers such as Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads and measure their performance. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and block cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You can download all your data as JSON and delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Security. You can also request access, correction, deletion or objection by writing to the contact address.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as you keep your account. Password reset links expire after one hour and failed login records after fifteen minutes. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS.
