Anfitrión is a free event planner built for what really complicates a baby shower, wedding, birthday or graduation: knowing who's coming, where each household sits, who's bringing which gift and who still needs an invitation. Guest list, seating chart, invitations and gift registry live in one place, with no spreadsheets to keep in sync.

The working unit is the group — a household, a group of friends, coworkers — because that's how people are invited and seated. Each group gets a single WhatsApp message with its own link, where each person RSVPs and can reserve a gift from the list so nothing is duplicated.

How to use

  1. 1Choose the type of event and fill in the date, time and venue.
  2. 2Paste or import your guest list with each guest's household or group; groups are created automatically.
  3. 3Create tables and press “Auto-seat” or drag each household to its table.
  4. 4Send invitations on WhatsApp with a personalized message and an RSVP link.
  5. 5Add the gift list and follow RSVPs and reservations from the dashboard.

What you can do

  • Guests grouped by household
  • Import guests from Excel or CSV
  • Tables with capacity and auto-seating
  • Personalized WhatsApp invitations
  • RSVP link for each household
  • Gift registry with reservations
  • Saved in your browser or your account
  • Export the guest list and seating plan

Guest list by household

Add guests one by one or paste a column copied from Excel or Google Sheets with name, household, phone and adult or child. Anfitrión reads the headers, groups people who share a household and keeps the group's contact phone to send the invitation.

Each guest has an RSVP status (pending, attending, not attending or maybe) and a field for dietary needs. The counters at the top always show how many people have confirmed, how many haven't replied and how many children are coming.

Seating chart that keeps households together

Create tables with their number of seats and place guests by dragging them or with each person's selector. You can seat a whole household at once: if it doesn't fit, the tool tells you instead of quietly splitting it.

Auto-seating places the largest groups first at the table where they fit best, leaving as few stray seats as possible, and only splits a group when it fits nowhere. Guests who declined don't take a seat. When you're done, download the plan as a PDF for the venue or caterer.

WhatsApp invitations with an RSVP link

Write the message once with variables such as {nombre}, {fecha}, {lugar} or {enlace} and Anfitrión personalizes it for each group. The WhatsApp button opens the chat with that contact and the message ready to send.

If you save the event in your free account, each group gets a private link where they RSVP person by person. Replies show up in your dashboard marked as answered by the guest. The link only shows the event details and that group's members, never the full guest list.

  • A different, unguessable link for each household.
  • Optional RSVP deadline.
  • You can turn links off at any time.
  • You can also download a printable invitation card as a PDF.

Gift registry without duplicates

Add the gifts you'd like with a quantity and, optionally, a store link. From their link each household can reserve a gift; other guests see it's no longer available but not who reserved it. You do see it, and you can note down anyone who tells you in person.

After the event, mark which gifts you received and keep track of thank-you notes still to send.

Where your data is stored

Without an account, the event is saved only in this browser. With a free account it syncs across devices and you can use RSVP links. Either way you can download a backup of the event and the guest list as a CSV for Excel.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every feature is free. The account, also free, is only needed to sync across devices and use RSVP links.

Do my guests need an account to RSVP?

No. They open their link, mark who's attending and send the reply. No sign-up or download needed.

Can a guest see the full guest list?

No. Each link only shows the event details and the members of that group. On the gift list they see what's available, not who reserved what.

Can I import my list from Excel?

Yes. Copy the columns from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them, or import a CSV file. Headers like Name, Household, Phone and Type are recognized.

How many guests does it support?

Up to 500 guests, 300 groups, 80 tables and 200 gifts per event.

Can I run a giveaway among attendees?

Yes. In the Event tab, “Run a draw among attending guests” opens the prize wheel with confirmed guests already loaded.
