Type the page numbers you want to keep, separated by commas, and use a dash for ranges: “1-3, 5, 8-10” extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 into a single new PDF, in that order.
Splitting every page into its own file
This mode produces one independent PDF per page of the original document, numbered in order. It's handy when you need to upload each page separately to another system or hand them out to different people.
Deleting specific pages
Instead of saying which pages to keep, you say which ones to remove (“2, 7” deletes page 2 and page 7); the rest of the document keeps its original order. If the range you enter would delete every page, the tool blocks it, because the result would be empty.
